The 2022 CasChoess Winter World Blitz Championship is the third Choess Championship and the first Blitz Championship. It is a two stage blitz choess tournament with a 5+5 time control.
The format is 4 groups of 4 for seeding in the knockout round which will be a double elimination knockout tournament. Each matchup will be played with each player as white and black.
There are no tiebreaks in the group stage. In the knockout stage. There will be 3+2 tiebreaks until a winner is decided.
